To bring manufacturing back to America, we need innovative technology that is cost competitive and environmentally sustainable. Monolith is doing this after spending the past four years developing a first-of-its kind technology to manufacture carbon black, a commodity material that’s found in everyday products like tires, ink, and electronics. Monolith is now scaling up and building the first large-scale carbon black plant in the US in over 30 years - choosing the heart of America for this monumental next-generation project in manufacturing. Groundbreaking is October 20, 2016 and the plant will be located just outside of Lincoln in Hallam, NE.
