Patents, Trademarks and Why They Matter for Startups

Patents can be valuable to a startup companies success.  Startups holding patents are more likely to secure investment, more likely to be acquired, and more likely to achieve long term success than startups without patents (http://bit.ly/2cUpP2N). Find out more about why patents and trademarks are important for startups and what resources are available from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). J. Allen Shriver, Supervisory Patent Examiner with the Rocky Mountain Regional United States Patent and Trademark Office, will share his expertise in this session.

One-on-one sessions to ask specific questions about your startup and patents and trademarks will be available after this session. If you would like to take advantage of these office hours, you must sign up for an individual session here:  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/uspto-individual-sessions-tickets-28009100975.
