I am a 22 year old student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Originally from Minnesota, I came to Nebraska for school and am staying much longer due to the strong animal rescue community. I am majoring in Management for Entrepreneurship for Pre-Law and Vet Science for Pre-Vet. I have been in no-kill animal rescue since I was 13 years old and helped run a no-kill shelter in Minnesota as a senior in high school. 2 years ago, going in to sophomore year at UNL, I founded the No Kill Advocacy Club, a student organization at UNL. The No Kill Advocacy Club works with no-kill rescues and organizations by volunteering, fundraising, advertising, and advocating. Shortly after founding that Club, I founded a non-profit organization called Progressive Animal Welfare Rescue (PAWR). PAWR is a no-kill rescue whose goal is to get the nation to no-kill by having a shelter location in every state. PAWR saves all companion animals but is waiting to take in animals until a large building can be built. 4 months ago, I shifted PAWR's focus to starting a cat cafe and has worked hard to come this far in a short time. I am an extremely driven, determined, and passionate young lady who will stop at nothing to achieve my goals and save lives. Contact me at 952-693-8857 for questions or more information!
